LucasArts have revealed that they will be releasing DLC for The Force Unleashed this Fall (Our Spring).

The content will be arriving in two parts. The first part will have new character models as well as additional costumes that will be available to use in the single player campaign. These new playable characters will include Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi as well as Ki-Adi-Mundi (the conehead Jedi) and Kit Fisto (the Jedi with tentacles thingies for hair).

The next set of DLC will actually be adding a new mission for the single player campaign. This mission will take place in the Jedi Temple on Coruscant (the same one from the movies). Why is he going to the temple you may ask?

“Darth Vader’s Secret Apprentice turns to the Jedi Temple to learn more about his father, and while searching through the rubble of the destroyed building he must confront his inner demons.”

Ever since I was left with the bitter taste of disappointment from the Mass Effect DLC, I am skeptical about additional mission for single player campaigns. If however, the price is right then it may be worth a look considering that I found the game to be a heap of fun. If the extra mission only adds an hour of gameplay though, then it had better be really cheap or it may just be a waste of everyones time. How about one or two more force powers? The PSP version actually has a few nifty powers that the next-gen versions didn’t have, so that would be a cool addition.

We will surely get more information on the DLC soon, so watch this space.
