Infinity Ward’s community manager, Robert Bowling, has confirmed that they are releasing an update for MW2 today which will introduce 2 new playlists and adding some more maps into the Free-for-all playlist.
The tweet is a little confusing but I am guessing that the 2 new playlist types are Hardcore Ricochet and HQ Pro.
Honestly I spend pretty much all my game time in Ground War or Team Deathmatch so it doesn’t really make much difference to me. Though having said that I guess it’s time for me to start venturing into hardcore mode so maybe I will be jamming some Ricochet tonight.
“Playlist update coming today. Introducing Hardcore Ricochet: HQ Pro & adding more maps to the rotation of the Free-for-All playlist.” (Twitter)
He then goes on to answer some questions and confirm that the update will be for all platforms and that the real DLC is being targeted for our Autumn.
