Who cares what Metacritic says, the xbox 360 is still the console to beat. I do not consider the Wii a console since it’s more like eating olives stuffed with anchovies.

I think it’s because so many developers have made games for those systems, trying to capitalise on the large userbase. Unfortunately many of those developers churn out sub-par rubbish in the hopes of making a quick buck.
