I don’t remember Splinter Cell: Conviction getting an official release date but apparently I am the only one with that memory issue.
If you also missed it then this is for you, the limited edition collectors edition and standard editions will be released locally on the 26th of February 2010 but if you can’t wait that long then you need to connect up to Xbox Live on the 16th of December, hey that’s tomorrow, at 7pm local time for the exclusive worldwide premiere of the much anticipated multiplayer modes.
I really hope we get the chance to shove our friends faces into urinals… that would make my day.
The limited collectors edition will include
- An exclusive Sam Fisher statue
- Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction game in unique SteelBook™ case
- Infiltration Mode : Eliminate all hostiles in the mission area without being detected

No thanks, that CE is lame. Figure looks horrible and digital content is almost always useless.

That’s a pretty rubbish figurine. Unfortunate though, cause this game looks absolutely stellar. Curious about that shadow armor (or is it armour?)

I have to agree with ClericZA and batman. That’s a pretty rubbish figurine.
I’m also tired of all this plastic junk they try to pawn off on us. I miss the days when a collector’s edition was truly epic or a limited edition item was truly limited. In other words a rare occurrence, and not just the same product, with a crummy plastic figurine, taped to the back or chucked in with a bunch of other crap in a flippin’ big box.
