Forget New Super Mario Bros Wii, Galaxy, or even Metroid Other M. This is the Wii’s raison d’être; its very reason for being. 505 Games upcoming child-rearing sim, Baby and Me has a special edition that’ll make fans of the genre rabid.

While the regular version of the comes with a holster to which you attach your Wiimote and whatever household object takes your fancy, the special edition comes with a genuine doll. Which you insert your Wiimote into. Like some sort of giant rectal suppository. I really, really wish I was making this up.

The official list of features read like this :

Your baby reacts by giggling, gurgling or crying through the Wii remote
Ten Baby Mode games including feed baby & send baby to sleep
Eight Play Mode games including rattle, catch, clap & balloons
Balance Board support: rock baby to sleep, burp baby, teach baby to walk
Customise baby with new clothes, accessories and playrooms

Of course, it won’t be long until some disturbed individual used the Wiimote-stuffed faux baby as an input device itself; Turning it from a child rearing sim to a bad British nanny baby-shaking one. The game will launch some time this month, where it’s expected to go head-to-head with Call of Duty : Modern Warfare 2.
