I know I am not alone in wanting Contra to get re-invented in its awesome 2D state for the current gen consoles. However I have been begging for this to happen for ages and it just apparently isn’t going to happen.
However I would happily take this as a second best solution, some really smart modders out there have recreated the first level of Contra in the half life 2 engine, it seriously brings back some good memories… that is until he gets to the boss at the end of the level.
Gordon would never have made it through this level without dying at least once, it’s impossible.
