So it looks like Sony has not learnt their lesson at all.
Not days after finally announcing a price cut and getting everyones hopes up that Sony are finally listening to the consumers it has come out that they in fact have not. According to SCEE president David Reeves all that Sony America are doing is getting rid of excess stock.
The 60Gb PS3 is being phased out in America and once the current stock is finished your only choice will be to pay the full $599 for the 80Gb version. So in essence you are now getting 20Gb free but that is not what Sony told us.
They said they where cutting the price, how can they keep on expecting to get away with lying like that?

Well regardless of their intentions or motivations it is still a price drop, how are they lying if the price gets dropped?

Um because it is not permanent.. They should have announced a special, or a sale..
Claiming a price drop and then never restocking is one of the most ludicrous things I have ever heard of.
They are having a stock clearance. Big difference
