When checking the server stats it becomes quite obvious that we get a fair amount of hits from people googling “Bayonetta Naked” or “Nudity Heavy Rain” so I thought I would make a play for more hits by a sensationalist headline followed by full Heavy Rain nudity of the male kind.
Apparently in Heavy Rain you get to participate in a full shower scene with either of your avatars (male or female) which includes a full drying session.
Now I don’t know about you but I find that a little sad to be honest, the game itself really appeals to me but I struggle to see why we need this sort of nudity in a game… it just feels like an excuse to pick up extra gamers.
Fans will make the excuse that the game is just playing into the realism of the story but I watch many movies that I connect with that don’t have naked women in them.. I know it’s shocking to hear but it’s true.

I think it’s all part of their artistic vision to completely immerse the player into the lives of as many characters as possible. Apparently you also need to shave and brush teeth.
Really hoping I don’t have to push putty and wipe though. That may be where my tollerance for the mundane ends.

It’s merely a sign that games as an artform is slowly maturing, on the other hand, a case could be made that the industry is awakening to the fact that their core demographic is actually ageing (due to the fact that strictly speaking the popularity of games amongst tweens are actually decreasing).
In any case, I demand more sausage in my games.

Quit whining about nudity BIG f’n deal. All of this adds more depth and realism to the game and if u don’t buy that well who cares. Just stop your crying. You’re probably some fat ugly girl who thinks nudity is distasteful only because u look terrible nude. Haha dont be jealous shes just an animation

I find it disgusting that they would have all this nudity. It’s very un necessary. They could of blurred it all out or just cut it from the game completely.

From my understanding the nudity in Heavy Rain is very mature and as such I don’t see a problem.
It’s an everyday part of adult life and if we are looking at real immersion then it cannot be ignored.
