Following precedents set by Project Gotham Racing and Burnout Paradise, Gran Turismo may also be opening its arms to the inclusion of two-wheeled vehicles. No not half cars, silly! Bikes!

In an interview with IGN, Polyphony Digital’s big boss man Kasunori Yamauchi toyed with the inclusion of bikes in the series, saying "If that’s what users really want in the game, I think that’s a possibility. Or we could consider making a Tourist Trophy 2 as well.”

Tourist Trophy, if you’re aware, was PD’s Playstation 2 take on Motorcycle racing. That’s probably the better option, too. Nobody wants GT5 delayed any longer than it already has been. I’m really looking forward to playing GT5 from the comfort of my very own old-age home wheelchair.
