The Protoss were my arch-nemesis in the original StarCraft, I used to play Zerg and generally could take out most other Zerg or Terran players but put a 12 month old baby in charge of a Protoss fleet and I was doomed.
But if you were one of those Protoss followers then this is great news for you, Blizzard has confirmed that while the main StarCraft II single player campaign will be based around the Terrans there will be a smaller second campaign dedicated to the Protoss.
It won’t be as indepth as the Terran campaign but it’s a nice added extra and we all know that the StarCraft fans are only really picking up this game for Multiplayer anyway.
