Gamespy has put together a map of the world tracking how a game gets released and how it is viewed as it goes.
It’s got some good points especially points 3,4 and 10 but at the same time it does once again display to the world the general ignorance of the American people.
Seriously it labelled 8 (Australia) as having one of the most violent crime rates on Earth… and 9 (Africa) claiming that the game gets populated with African characters, but hey at least they nearly had a whole map of the globe going.
Just a pity the self titled movie couldn’t save Madagascar from sinking into the ocean and New Zealand and Tasmania have also suffered the same fate.

That map was a joke wasn’t it?
The Africa section is a throwback to the Resi 5 controversy if I’m not mistaken.

Yeah, number 9 refers to RE5. It’s not actually saying that all games are automatically populated with African characters. It’s just saying that games set in Africa can’t show African characters, otherwise it would be racist. Just like games set in America can’t have American characters because… err…
No. Wait. What?!
