Peter Molyneux’s 5 Most Revolutionary Title | |

Fable 3 – like everything Peter Molyneux creates – promises to be revolutionary. Whether it manages to actually live up to that hype – unlike everything Peter Molyneux creates – remains to be seen.
Regardless of the fact that Molyneux seems to live in the clouds is that he is indeed responsible for some mighty fine gaming experiences including, but not limited to, the likes of Populous, Syndicate, Theme Park, Black & White and the aforementioned fable series. What then are the games from the last two decades that Molyneux considers to be most revolutionary?
Hit the jump to find out.
• The RTS Dune 2: The game took players away from twitchy gunplay to a more cerebral approach.
• Super Mario 64: The true precursor to the likes of GTAIV as it ushered in free roaming in an open environment.
• Tomb Raider: The game featured an iconic heroine instead of a muscle-bound man.
• Halo: The title brought FPS games to consoles, with health regen and 2 weapon limits.
• World of Warcraft: The use of "carrot dangling" to drive players to keep playing.
What do you think?
I certainly agree with the Lionhead…head with regards to Dune 2 and Mario 64. I don’t really consider the rest of the revolutionary as such – but then again Molyneux’s idea of revolutionary isn’t quite up to par with the rest of the world’s.

Some people really need to see a doctor. I find Peter’s games quite fascinating, innovating ,ENJOYABLE and dare I say it, UNFORGETTABLE. Especially Black and White 2 (YES, for me, better than number 1), Dungeon Keeper, The Movies, and Fable 1, 2 and soon to be release 3. Say what you will, but Peter should carry on with what he’s doing. People should appreciate his work more… atleast I am. In my mind, he’s doing everything perfectly (for me, that is). Hey… what can I say… I really like his games… call me a fanboy.
