So Mastertronic (a UK publisher) has just joined a small group that has been adding to the casual gamer group. The firm was founded in 1983 and was originally a publisher and distributor of low-cost PC game software.
Now its announced its new great indie game sector entitled… uhm well Great Indie Games.
The new sector was created with the intention to allow a wider access to indie games just like their first title, the award-winning puzzler World of Goo.
I’ve always appreciated the concept of casual games. The term alone just rings notions of R&R to me and well lets face it, with more publishers pushing this genre without making it their priority… it can only spell good things (now here’s to hoping I don’t have to eat my words).
